As you plan your travel - most people reach Perpignan economically by taking the 90 min fast train up from Barcelona. ( Take the 15 train shuttle from Barcelona airport to main Barelona Sants Train Station- Best to book ahead the Barcelona Perpignan train ) . Also there are direct flights to Perpignan- especially the economic Ryanair from London Stansted.

If you arrive Perpignan airport- take a shuttle or short 8 min taxi to main Perpignan Train station. At Perpignan Train station locate the 1 euro 46 min train from Perpignan to Prades/ Molitg / Villefranche. https://www.sncf-connect.com/ - For example- on Sept 19 - our arrival day - the (46 min / 1 euro) Perpignan to Prades/ Vernet / Villefranche is scheduled to depart Perignan at 7:06, 9:10 , 11:10 , 13:10 , 15:10 , 17:16, 18:16 , NOTE! no connection later!.. (See modified change above..due to local track issue) ..If at all possible we suggest all guests catch one of these trains on Sept 19. Stay on the train (now it's a bus connector) - ( past Prades ) to the END to VILLEFRANCHE. ( If you cannot get this train from Perpignan - we will try to be helpful of course). Note also there are at least 2 very nice reasonable places to stay at Perpignan train station- the Quality Inn in the station, and the Apart-Hotel just cross the street.

(Also bottom here- see alternate Perpignan to Prades bus schedule- if you cannot get to Villefranche- we can probably arrange to get you in Prades - just 10 min in from...)

Best arrival times for you to get to VILLEFRANCE - to make the 7 pm Dinner Party in time - would be to catch the 15:10 , 17:16, 18:16 , Perpignan departures.

We plan to run our little shuttle bus (Eric the driver) TO MEET AT VILLEFRANCHE TRAIN STATION- most all afternoon and early eve on SEPT 19. Good if you can let us know your arrival time. It will take about 9 minutes to drive you to the venue (the Mairie in Lower Fuilla - see map below).

On the other non-arrival/ depart days.. (especially the Monday play day) we plan to run our shuttle back and forth to the parking lot at the far end of the Villefranche castle.. see map. (which is only about 10 min walk from the train station). This way you can access all the options /trains/ and more when you like.
